I have done Woman Shaman Priestess and Flight of the Skydancer classes with Yeshe. Her classes are full of information, traditions, and lessons. After the first year, I felt a change in who I was and what my purpose was. In the second year, I have taken the knowledge within and begun spreading it and finding my/strengthening my bonds with spirit. The women in the group are supportive and I've enjoyed sharing my journey with open minds and hearts. I look forward to other classes Yeshe offers in the future.

Yeshe Matthews sets a fine example for someone who is looking for a peaceful daily practice. Her daily devotional to Kuan Yin on Facebook Live has enriched my spiritual journey by conveying a serene and enlightening oasis in what is often a hectic world. She has taught me how to use mindfulness with word and deed. I look up to her as a priestess and practitioner while on my path as she brings peace and support to a great community of practitioners (Sangha). I have learned the true meaning of trance with mala meditation as we give prostrations to Kuan Yin. She sets positive intentions and we all share free thought amongst ourselves. I have connected with several people whom have become friends because of her selfless, daily practice. She has a gracious, Divine heart and purpose to relay to humanity.

I met Yeshe three years ago at the Goddess Conference and now I can only say beautiful things about her: Passionate priestess, dedicated, respectful, generous, and very compassionate. It is wonderful that we all have the opportunity to approach to the Goddess with the devotion to Kuan Yin that Yeshe shares daily; All her work as a Priestess she does from the soul and with the purpose to reach anyone who needs it. For me she is a great Priestess sister but above all she is a great role model.

Yeshe’s strength and dedication inspire me. My daily practice can suffer when life gets in the way and that doesn’t serve my work as a Priestess. She always reminds me to come back to Center. She is an inspiration to stand in my truth.

Yeshe is a life-long learner, creative contemplative, and inspired teacher. Her devotion to Goddess, in all Her manifestations, is apparent in her powerful rituals, introspective and scholarly writings, social justice work, and visionary aspirations for the Mount Shasta Goddess Temple. I personally have deepened my connection with Goddess, through my study with Yeshe, especially how to integrate the sacred and mundane aspects of my life. Her intuitive wise counsel and divinations are spot-on, and she seeks to empower her students, and those she reads for, to reach their highest potential. My practice with the SkyDancer Sangha, and the year-long Deer Mother Priestess Training, have been life-changing. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking sacred space for their personal growth in a nurturing, compassionate environment.

I have known Yeshe for almost a decade and deeply appreciate her work, dedication, and wisdom. I’ve consulted her for intuitive readings and personal path working over the years, and in 2018 I joined her Woman Shaman Priestess training. This program has been life altering and profoundly meaningful for me, helping me connect with my own lineage and the threads of priestesshood throughout the ages. WSP has guided me through the historical lineage of spiritwork, given me lessons and rituals for protection, healing and transformation, and helped me to develop my own sacred path of service. Yeshe herself is a model of priestesshood: leading with her dedication to the Goddess and willingness to share her own experiences (both magical and mundane) in order to support her students and those who come to her for guidance. She has created a true sisterhood of the Spirit, and I’m honored to share this work with her.

“I am, and have consistently been, deeply moved by the level of personal growth, magical development, and worldly knowledge that I have gained with the carefully crafted curriculum and Yeshe’s firm and loving guidance. The work runs very deep. It will bring you into fathomless realms of your Spirit, the Soul of the Worlds, and to use a term from Yeshe herself, a profound connection with the Oneness Light. Be prepared to be inspired, turned inside out, and welcome in your dreams.”

One of my most heartfelt memories in my early years of practicing magic with Yeshe was during a Women's Moon Circle. We were going around the circle saying what we were grateful for during the last moon cycle. I had just lost my best friend/familiar/cat Fredrick, and shared this on my turn. Yeshe, who was sitting a few seats away from me, said under her breath, "Blessed Be". This wasn't some eye opening epiphany or gates of heaven opening moment for me, but simply one woman to another acknowledging and supporting a sisters' sorrow.
I could feel by the way she said those two simple words, that she was listening to me, and all of the other women who had shared in the circle that evening.
The magic I have practiced, the rituals that I have partaken in, and the integrity I have witnessed from Yeshe's intentions is stellar. Her awareness and respect for the unwritten laws of nature and magic show her strength and willingness to lead us all through the darkest of times.

Yeshe’s work is amazing. I highly recommend working with her. Not only is she supportive and compassionate, she is fun, relatable, and deeply honoring of each woman’s personal and unique journey. There are other priestess trainings out there that seek to mold you into what they think you should be. This is not the case here. This is about discovering and expressing you and your own divine walk.

I am a student of Woman Shaman Priestess class 2018 and 2019 and have attended monthly Mt Shasta Goddess Temple Full Moon Ceremonies on occasion. Yeshe is a gifted facilitator; one of the first things I noticed in her circles is that she has a beautiful way of making the women feel comfortable and acknowledged. Her WSP course is well organized, presents a wealth of wisdom from traditional pathways combined with teachings from her personal path and practice. WSP offers women a safe haven to learn and grow personally and spiritually.

We are most grateful for Yeshe Matthews-Robles live streamed Kuan Yin practice. I, Saint, knew Yeshe (then Rabbit) back in Oakland, California where she used to have the Sacred Well. I frequently visited her there and have gone to some of her coven practices/events. I moved to England 6 years ago and the live streaming practice as given me a great deal of grounding and guidance through some very difficult times. I dealt with an abusive relationship that my visa was reliant on, leaving said relationship and moving in with a friend to care for her in her last few months of life with cancer, building a case with the UK Home Office to stay after the messy divorce….just to name a few woes. The familiarity of Yeshe’s wisdom and voice was my saving grace. Though technology has often gone too far and has been an abuse to our lives, it has these glimmers of magic, beaming devotional chant 5000 miles through the air.
Two years ago, my new and lovely English partner, Helen, was off work due to anxiety and I introduced her to Yeshe’s practice. She felt it was one of the main things that got her through when just mediation wouldn’t’ t work. She now often asks if we can “do some rabbit”. We have put together a little altar with a candle holder our friend’s gave us from India, a picture of Kuan Yin that I bought from Oakland, a precious stone from the Sacred Well, a mala from Asheville, North Carolina and bells that Helen bought at a charity shop in England just so she can join in the sounding of liberation (and a less than sacred imitation of a grinning chimpanzee toy bashing cymbals). I can’t say we chant along daily but it is often and brings us closer to ourselves and each other. We both have had many struggles but whether it is in the spirit of gratitude or weary from woes, we are most grateful to have Yeshe on tap to lead us back to the embrace of Kuan Yin.

Yeshe was my mentor for one year when I was a student in her priestess program. I was highly impressed by her immense wisdom on so many spiritual topics. It’s amazing actually to receive from her fountain of knowledge. She was always very professional and personable. I could feel that she genuinely cared about me and my progress. Even more important to me was that I knew I could trust her. I could trust her as a person, as my teacher and trust her oracular talents. I highly recommend working with Yeshe Matthews!

Since 2021, my journey with the Mount Shasta Goddess Temple has been life-changing. Through training, courses, retreats, and pilgrimage, I've deepened my connection to goddesses and found a supportive sisterhood. This vibrant community has brought friendship, growth, and endless inspiration to my life. I'm so grateful to be part of this Goddess Temple.

Being part of the Mt. Shasta Goddess Temple has been a transformative and deeply enriching experience. I’m currently in the two-year priestess training program and have completed the first year, which brought so much healing, self-acceptance, and personal growth.
This program has truly pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best ways, helping me to embrace my authentic self and step into my voice and power. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with a community of incredible, strong, and magickal women who inspire me.
My teacher, Yeshe, has been a light of support throughout this journey. Her guidance has helped me deepen my connection with multiple goddesses, ancestors and inner divine, making my work even more meaningful and sacred.
I’m so grateful I chose to join this temple. It’s not just a program; it’s a journey of empowerment, spiritual connection, and community. I can’t wait to see what Year 2 has in store!

Yeshe Matthews, founder and teacher of the Mount Shasta Goddess Temple has been my teacher for about 3 plus years now. I have completed Woman Shaman Priestess and Flight of the Skydancer, a two-year program in order to become a priestess of the lineage. I have also taken: Raise the Temple, Matryoska, The Antlered Goddess, Lapis Philosophorum, and Priestess of Aphrodite, to name a few. I am currently enrolled in the Via Carmen Pythia program which is also a two year course of study in divination. I am a member of the Council of Wise Women and have been on pilgrimage with Yeshe. The temple has so many offerings via membership from the Order of the Black Madonna to full and new moon rituals.
This has truly been a life changing adventure in learning, service and sisterhood. Her heartfelt dedication to this work shines through in every interaction, ritual, and teaching. She lives what she teaches.
If you feel drawn to the Mount Shasta Goddess Temple’s offerings, I highly recommend it. Yeshe is a deeply knowledgeable and compassionate spiritual teacher whose life’s work is dedicated to uplifting women and being of service via goddess culture, women's history and divination. I have never met anyone so knowledgeable.
Her educational background and thorough research and wisdom into goddess traditions across cultures creates a rich and inclusive foundation for all participants in the programs she leads. Yeshe weaves historical insights like studying ancestresses, spiritual practices, and a deep understanding of the challenges and triumphs of women throughout history into every lesson. Her approach is both scholarly and intuitive, honoring the ancient while empowering modern seekers to create meaningful change in their lives and communities.
As a guide and mentor, Yeshe meets each person where they are on their journey. Her teachings inspire confidence, foster self-discovery, and awaken a sense of sacred purpose. Working with her is not only an opportunity to deepen your spiritual practice but also a chance to connect with a lineage of wisdom and compassion that has empowered women for generations.
Every goddess in her mandala, the temple’s mandala is alive for us and she has helped us create our own living mandalas to work within.
She challenges us and expects us do the work.
Priestessing is a verb. Yeshe and the Mount Shasta Goddess Temple have made priestessing a way of life for me. I love being a part of a group of “smart women doing wonderful things” in the shimmering rippling landscape of appearances.
